Where can I purchase your products?

Our online store is always open! We can ship anywhere in the US and happily make local deliveries. During the summers you can find us selling our goods at the Westside Community Market in Madison every 1st and 3rd Saturday from 7 am-12:30 pm, and at the Monroe Street Farmer’s Market every 2nd and 4th Sunday from 9 am - 1 pm.

What is bolted flour?

“Bolted” refers to the sifting process after flour has been stone milled. This removes approximately 75% of the bran and creates a product that is closer to a “white” flour. You are still getting all of the naturally occurring vitamins and minerals that are present in the grain’s germ and endosperm, but a smaller portion of fiber. Bolted flour is often considered to be easier to bake with because there are fewer large bran particles to disrupt gluten development. We recommend using bolted flours when you are looking for a more open crumb or lighter end product.

Can we come visit your farm?

We love to have visitors and welcome these requests! Depending on the time of year we may be able to sneak away for a tour, but we also attempt to host a field day at our farm biannually. We hosted field days in 2017 and 2019.
