Organic Buckwheat

from $8.75

Our Buckwheat flour has a soft texture and a pleasantly nutty flavor that is great for making traditional crepes, adding to pancakes, breads, cookies and more. On our organic farm, this crop is an integral part of our diverse rotation.

Buckwheat is actually not a “wheat” at all, but is related to sorrel and rhubarb. While this pseudo-cereal lacks gluten, it is milled in a facility that processes wheat and is not safe for those with celiac disease.

Organic Buckwheat grown by Meadowlark Organics in Ridgeway, WI.

All of our flours are stone milled which preserves the rich flavor and nutritional value of the grain.

Best within 6 months - refrigerate or freeze for longer storage.
